Nine Pitchers Work Together As 2019 North All Stars Shuts Out 2019 South All Stars

2019 North All Stars defeated 2019 South All Stars 6-0 on Sunday as nine pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

2019 North All Stars secured the victory thanks to four runs in the fifth inning. The rally was led by singles by Ben BergerEvan Keller, and Austin Kirkpatrick.

A single by Patrick Blackall in the second inning was a positive for 2019 South All Stars.

Luke Verga was credited with the victory for 2019 North All Stars. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Duncan Newman took the loss for 2019 South All Stars. He allowed four hits and four runs over one inning, striking out two and walking zero.

DC Arceneaux started the game for 2019 North All Stars. He lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while walking zero Ryan Andrzejczyk started the game for 2019 South All Stars. He lasted two innings, allowing two hits and zero runs

Keller went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead 2019 North All Stars in hits. 2019 North All Stars was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Kirkpatrick had the most chances in the field with six.
