Head Coach: JR Dwyer

As a collegiate player, Coach Dwyer participated at the junior college, NAIA and Division I levels of competition. In four years of college baseball he was both a starting/relief pitcher, as well as a first baseman. This participation included the NCAA Division I Independent National Championships, NCCAA National Championships and California Community College Playoffs.

His coaching experience has been at the community college, Division II and III levels. This experience also includes coaching in some of the most competitive summer collegiate baseball leagues around the nation including the Cal Ripken, Perfect Game, New England and Southern California Collegiate baseball leagues. Coach Dwyer has served as a pitching, hitting, third base, first base,  bullpen coach and interim head coach.

Coach Dwyer, a resident of Fresno, CA is entering his first season as Head Coach of the Virginia Beach Shredders Baseball Club.
