FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
Direct Player Support Raffle
To help offset the cost of summer baseball related expenses, and to increase playing opportunities for all collegiate players, the league offers our members the opportunity to participate in our “Direct Player Support Raffle”. There is no cost for players to participate in this raffle, and is available to ALL league members.
This is a league sponsored “Direct Player Support” Raffle, with a top prize of $2,000.00 and a total prize package of $4,000.00 (see below). Raffle tickets sell for $20.00 each, and participating members will be sent an amount of raffle tickets equal to the cost of their summer baseball membership expenses, including housing/meal plan if applicable.
For players who would like to participate in the raffle, once they have completed the registration process, the league will send their raffle tickets, which they can sell to both recoup their initial investment in summer baseball, and provide the funding to help pay some or all of the remaining balance of their membership expenses, including housing/meal plan expenses, if applicable, depending on the total number of raffle tickets actually sold.
For players who pay their summer baseball expenses in full, they will be able to sell the raffle tickets and simply keep the proceeds from the sales, allowing them to recoup some or all of their summer baseball expenses; as they would turn in only the completed ticket stubs, which contains the purchaser’s information, depending on the total number of raffle tickets actually sold.
While players are not required to sell these raffle tickets, the league offers our players the opportunity to participate in our league’s “Direct Player Support” Raffle to help offset the cost of league membership and housing fees. If a player sells all his raffle tickets, he will essentially be playing, and staying, for free. Parents and family members are eligible to enter and win.
