The TSL’s development division, the City League, is widely regarded as one of the country’s top collegiate developmental leagues. We remain focused on player development and providing young collegiate athletes an outstanding summer baseball experience. For players not from the Hampton Roads area, housing is available (at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront) for an additional fee. With great facilities, coaches, housing and a development program designed by former professional players, the City League is a great opportunity for collegiate players to develop their skills, gain valuable playing experience while spending part of their summer in beautiful Virginia Beach, VA.

Our program is designed to ensure that every “able bodied” player in the league plays in every game, it’s built into the program. You will get daily live reps in the field and daily at bats;

The league strictly adherence to our pitch count/days rest rules and incorporate our pitcher’s live innings into a healthy throwing routine;

Annual All-Star Game ;

Post Season Championship Tournament;

Games played at great facilities in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Hampton and Chesapeake;

3-man crew of experienced collegiate umpires for all regular season and post season games;

Live game feeds, with league, team and player stats & standings via Game Changer;

Live internet broadcast of select games via Facebook and/or Twitter;

Player of the Week Awards, League MVP Awards and other player recognition;

Safety – The league takes the safety of our players, coaches, staff and fans very seriously and has implemented stringent COVID-19 related protocols and safety measures.

Baseballs, Jerseys, Hat, Socks & Belts* provided;

*Please note the following exceptions:

  1. Baseball pants are NOT provided by the league or teams. It is the responsibility of each player to bring their own baseball pants (1 pair white & 1 pair grey);
  2. Bats and Helmets are NOT provided by the league or teams. It is the responsibility of each player to provide himself with an adequate supply of bats for their personal use throughout the season, as well as a batting helmet and any other protective gear;
