Rubenstein’s Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Edenton Steamers’s Victory Over Tidewater Drillers

A walk-off single led Edenton Steamers past Tidewater Drillers 7-6 on Tuesday. The game was tied at six with Edenton Steamers batting in the bottom of the tenth when Brody Rubenstein singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Tidewater Drillers scored four runs in the first inning, but Edenton Steamers still managed to pull out the victory. Tidewater Drillers big bats were led by Brett Smith and Carter Johnson, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Tidewater Drillers got on the board in the first inning when Smith singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Edenton Steamers knotted the game up at six in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Shane Easter hit a solo homer.

Six Pitchers Team Up As Peninsula Pilots Shuts Out Old Dominion Hitters

Peninsula Pilots defeated Old Dominion Hitters 8-0 on Tuesday as six pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

In the first inning, Peninsula Pilots got their offense started when Jacob Boone grounded into a double play, but still managed to score one run.

Peninsula Pilots notched three runs in the third inning. Peninsula Pilots put the pressure on, lead by walks by Tommy Bell and Nick Biddison and by Trey Morgan.

A double by Alberto Osuna-Sanchez in the second inning was a positive for Old Dominion Hitters.

Morgan pitched Peninsula Pilots to victory. He went four innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Phillip Forbes took the loss for Old Dominion Hitters. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out two.

Edenton Steamers defeated Greenbrier Knights 10-0 on Saturday as five pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Aaron Copeland induced a groundout from Trey Blow to finish off the game.

Houston Wright led Edenton Steamers to victory by driving in four runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. Wright drove in runs on a single in the first, a home run in the second, and a single in the fourth.

Greenbrier Knights Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Old Dominion Hitters

An early lead helped Greenbrier Knights defeat Old Dominion Hitters 12-9 on Friday. Greenbrier Knights scored on a home run by Trey Blow in the first inning, a double by Ty Hanchey in the first inning, a groundout by Bennie Spady in the first inning, a groundout by Jack Morick in the first inning, and a single by Trent Hanchey in the second inning.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Greenbrier Knights collected 14 hits and Old Dominion Hitters had 12.

After Old Dominion Hitters scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Greenbrier Knights answered with two of their own. Old Dominion Hitters scored when Doug Ott grounded out, scoring one run and Seth Branson doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Greenbrier Knights then answered when Hanchey singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run and Hanchey drew a walk, scoring one run.

Peninsula Pilots Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Tidewater Drillers

Peninsula Pilots stole the lead late and defeated Tidewater Drillers 7-4 on Wednesday. The game was tied at four with Peninsula Pilots batting in the bottom of the seventh when.

Tidewater Drillers scored four runs in the third inning, but Peninsula Pilots still managed to pull out the victory. South Trimble and Mason Dunaway all drove in runs in the frame.

Peninsula Pilots knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the fifth inning, when Nick Biddison singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Peninsula Pilots scored three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Peninsula Pilots was led by Gephry Pena and Biddison, who all drove in runs.

Ryan Devine led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Peninsula Pilots. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out two and walking zero.

Edenton Steamers Blows Out Greenbrier Knights Thanks To Big Second Inning

Edenton Steamers put up five runs in the second on its way to a 9-1 victory over Greenbrier Knights on Wednesday. Brody Rubenstein, Jared Kauffman, and Alan Alonso powered the big inning with RBIs.

Edenton Steamers got things started in the first inning when Alonso grounded out, scoring one run.

Edenton Steamers put up five runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower by Edenton Steamers was led by Rubenstein, Kauffman, and Alonso, all driving in runs in the frame.
