This was the 2nd Annual TSL vs PCBL All Star game, and though Tidewater Summer League All Stars came up short in Richmond against the Piedmont Collegiate Baseball League All Stars, it was a great game and fun day.
PCBL All Stars claimed a 13-4 victory on Saturday, despite a big push by TSL All Stars in the third inning. The offensive firepower by TSL All Stars was led by Zach Dzarnowski, Kaden Hilburger, Aiden Oates, and Burt Hahn, who all drove in runs.
PCBL All Stars opened up scoring in the first inning, when Pooles homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Pedasite led the PCBL All Stars to victory on the hill. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three.
Robert Hatcher took the loss for TSL All Stars. Hatcher surrendered eight runs on five hits over two innings, striking out two.
PCBL All Stars hit one home run on the day. Pooles went for the long ball in the first inning.
PCBL All Stars collected eight hits on the day. Pooles, Ayscuc, and Pusgason all managed multiple hits for PCBL All Stars. Pusgason, Ayscuc, and Pooles each managed two hits to lead PCBL All Stars. McRaney led PCBL All Stars with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.
TSL All Stars tallied eight hits. Oates and Hahn all collected multiple hits for TSL All Stars.

The Tidewater Summer League is excited to announce we have assembled a team consisting of our league’s rookies (2022 College Bound High School Graduates), the TSL All Rookie Team, who will be playing an exhibition double header against the Florida Uncommitted Showcase Team.
These games have been scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Games will start at 1:00pm and 3:00pm and are being held at Lakewood Park in Norfolk, VA.
Both games will be live streamed on the TSL’s YouTube Channel.
