Seagulls Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Bluefish

Seagulls defeated Bluefish 11-2 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. Seagulls trailed 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Shane Gipson homered off of Ashton Knutson, driving in three runs.
Seagulls secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the seventh inning. Seagulls’s big inning was driven by a home run by Shane Gipson, a home run by Jordeyn Lewis, a error, and a double by Derrek Marshall Jr..
Chase Walter earned the win for Seagulls. He threw two innings, giving up zero runs, zero hits, striking out three, and walking one. Ashton Knutson took the loss for Bluefish. He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing five runs, and two hits.
Trevor Lloyd started the game for Bluefish. He went five and two-thirds innings, giving up zero runs, four hits, striking out five, and walking one. Casey Lewandoski started the game for Seagulls. He threw five innings, giving up two runs, three hits, and striking out four.
Home runs for Seagulls came when Gipson homered in the seventh inning and Lewis homered in the seventh inning.

Portsmouth Sea Monsters Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Suffolk Fightin’ Crabs, 10 – 3

Sea Monsters and Fightin’ Crabs played a tight game, but the Crabs pulled out the 10-3 victory on Monday. The game was tied at three with the Crabs batting in the top of the seventh when Glen Pizzanello uncorked a wild pitch, scoring one run.
The Crabs captured the lead in the first inning. Ben MacDonald drove in one when he singled in the first inning.
The Sea Monsters evened things up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning.Terrence Pinkston grounded out, scoring one run.
The Crabs scored five runs in the ninth inning. The big inning for the Crabs 7 came thanks to a single , a walk , a double , and a wild pitch.
Corey Fago earned the win for the Fightin’ Crabs . He threw three innings, surrendering one run, two hits, and striking out one. Glen Pizzanello took the loss for Sea Monsters. He tossed two innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out one, and walking zero.
Tyghe Bowers started the game for the Sea Monsters. He threw three innings, giving up one run, two hits, striking out five, and walking one. Noah Gear started the game for the Fightin’ Crabs. He went four innings, giving up two runs, four hits, and striking out four.
Lucas Terwilliger, Pinkston, and Troy White each drove in one run to lead the Sea Monsters. White led the Sea Monsters with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
The Fightin’ Crabs collected nine hits. Zachary Blaeser, Evan Hirschbaum, Billy Buscetto, and MacDonald each collected multiple hits for the Fightin’ Crabs.
