Tidewater Drillers Blue Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Tidewater Drillers White
Friday, July 23, 2021 – Virginia Beach, VA
Tidewater Drillers Blue snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Tidewater Drillers White on Friday. The game was tied at five with Tidewater Drillers Blue batting in the bottom of the sixth when Ronaldo DelDuca singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Tidewater Drillers Blue earned the victory despite allowing Tidewater Drillers White to score four runs in the fourth inning. Ryan Long, Alex Fenney, Ryan Ballard, and Noah Roots each had RBIs in the frame.
Tidewater Drillers Blue got on the board in the second inning when DelDuca singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Nicholas Jazkowski earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Tidewater Drillers Blue.
