Lageman’s Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Greenbrier Knights’s Victory Over Portsmouth Yardbirds
Greenbrier Knights took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Portsmouth Yardbirds. The game was tied at 12 with Greenbrier Knights batting in the bottom of the ninth when Luke Lageman singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Greenbrier Knights built a five-run lead in the sixth inning and then held off Portsmouth Yardbirds‘s charge. Portsmouth Yardbirds managed ten runs in the failed comeback. Liam Geib, Cameron Wallace, Jalin McMillan, Daniel Qin, Joshua Brown, and Christopher Berry picked up RBIs to lead the rally.
