Edenton Steamers Drops Game To Greenbrier Knights After Late Score
Edenton Steamers stayed in it until the end, but Greenbrier Knights pulled away late in a 7-6 victory on Saturday. Greenbrier Knights trailed 5-4 in the top of the seventh inning when Trent Hanchey singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Despite the loss, Edenton Steamers did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Greenbrier Knights had six hits on the way to victory.
