Houston Wright Drives In Four To Seal Edenton Steamers’s Victory Over Greenbrier Knights

Houston Wright was bad news for opposing pitchers on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Edenton Steamers past Greenbrier Knights 15-2 on Tuesday. Wright drove in runs on a home run in the first, a single in the first, and a wild pitch in the third.

Edenton Steamers secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the first inning. Edenton Steamers big bats were led by Wright, Allen Brown, Tyler Myers, and Wright, all driving in runs in the frame.

Edenton Steamers got things started in the first inning. Wright drove in three when he homered.

Aaron Copeland got the win for Edenton Steamers. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Kyle Reynolds, Brett Fulk, Daniel Willie, and Ray Stocum all securing outs and ultimately the victory.
