Outer Banks Daredevils Almost Erases 8-Run Deficit In Loss To Virginia Blasters

Virginia Blasters built an eight-run lead in the second inning and then held off Outer Banks Daredevils‘s charge for an 11-9 victory on Monday. Outer Banks Daredevils scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Hunter Rameriz in the fourth, a single by Dominick Claxtonin the fourth, a home run by Justin Taylor in the fourth, and a home run by Rameriz in the fifth.

Virginia Blasters earned the victory despite allowing Outer Banks Daredevils to score seven runs in the fourth inning. RamerizClaxton, and Taylor each had RBIs in the big inning.

Outer Banks Daredevils got on the board in the first inning when Taylor doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
