Tidewater Drillers Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Greenbrier Knights
Tidewater Drillers defeated Greenbrier Knights 17-13 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at 13 with Tidewater Drillers batting in the bottom of the seventh when South Trimble singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Trimble collected five hits in five at bats to help lead Tidewater Drillers to victory. Trimble doubled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, homered in the seventh, and singled in the seventh.
Greenbrier Knights got on the board in the first inning. Zach Dzarnowski drew a walk, scoring one run.
