Early Lead For Greenbrier Knights Seals Fate For Virginia Beach Shredders

Virginia Beach Shredders fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 19-5 loss to Greenbrier Knights on Sunday. Greenbrier Knights scored on a walk by Ricky Sisto in the first inning, a walk by Benny Spady in the first inning, a walk by Woojin Oh in the first inning, a walk by Tredell Blow in the second inning, a single by Sisto in the second inning, a sacrifice fly by Jacob Sistoin the second inning, and a single by Stefan Lesco in the second inning.

The Virginia Beach Shredders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Greenbrier Knights, giving up 19 runs.

In the first inning, Greenbrier Knights got their offense started when Sisto drew a walk, scoring one run.
