Norfolk Redbirds Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

Portsmouth Yardbirds watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 15-10 loss to Norfolk Redbirds on Sunday. Norfolk Redbirds scored on a single by Max Lipscomb, an error, a single by Christopher Mills, a passed ball during Campbell Pryor‘s at bat, an error, and a single by Ben Berger in the first inning.

Portsmouth Yardbirds collected ten hits and Norfolk Redbirds had ten in the high-scoring affair.

Norfolk Redbirds fired up the offense in the first inning, when Lipscomb singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
