Norfolk Redbirds Stymied By Lakewood Legends, Lose 8-1

Monday was a long day for Norfolk Redbirds, falling to Lakewood Legends 8-1.
Nytorious Cooler pitched Lakewood Legends to victory. He surrendered one run on two hits over five innings, striking out six. Cody Ray threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Hayden Olson took the loss for Norfolk Redbirds. He went three and a third innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out two.
Nathan Lozar, Ben Berger, Carlo Zorola, and Peter Stauber each collected one hit to lead Norfolk Redbirds.
Lakewood Legends racked up ten hits in the game. Tristan Welch, Samuel Smith, and Austin Kirkpatrick each had multiple hits for Lakewood Legends. Lakewood Legends was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Evan Keller had the most chances in the field with seven.
