Sea Monsters Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Fightin’ Crabs

An early lead helped Sea Monsters defeat Fightin’ Crabs 5-4 on Thursday. Sea Monsters scored on a single by Antonio Leite Jr. and a single by Lucas Terwilliger in the first inning.
Sea Monsters captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Antonio Leite Jr. drove in one run when he singled.
Glen Pizzanello earned the win for Sea Monsters. He went six innings, surrendering two runs, eight hits, striking out three, and walking zero. Nick Ott recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Sea Monsters. Griffen Tate took the loss for Fightin’ Crabs. He pitched seven innings, surrendering five runs, nine hits, striking out two, and walking one.
Sea Monsters collected ten hits. Terrence Pinkston, Lucas Terwilliger, William Oliver, and Leite Jr. each collected multiple hits for Sea Monsters. Leite Jr. and Corbin Townsend each drove in two runs to lead Sea Monsters.
