Suffolk Voyagers Clinches Lead In Eighth Inning For Victory Over Outer Banks Daredevils

Suffolk Voyagers snatched the lead late in the game in a 6-4 victory over Outer Banks Daredevils on Thursday. Suffolk Voyagers trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Aaron Morse tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Eric Minor pitched Suffolk Voyagers to victory. He allowed three hits and one run over two innings, striking out one. Hyeon-Ho Cho and Bryce Smith entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

John Keane took the loss for Outer Banks Daredevils. He surrendered six runs on two hits over two-thirds of an inning.
