Outer Banks Daredevils pulled away for good with one run in the fifth inning. In the fifth Outer Banks Daredevils scored one run on a stolen base.
Matthew Holler pitched Outer Banks Daredevils to victory. He surrendered three runs on six hits over five innings, striking out eight. Joey Rodriquez and Jackson Sanchez entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Sanchez recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Outer Banks Daredevils.
Jacob Crumbly took the loss for Greenbrier Knights. He lasted five innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out five.
