Bluefish Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Fightin’ Crabs

Bluefish took the lead late and defeated Fightin’ Crabs 13-6 on Sunday. Bluefish was down 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth inning when there was an error, scoring two runs.
Bluefish collected 18 hits and Fightin’ Crabs had ten in the high-scoring affair
Bluefish took an early lead in the first inning. Cody McSwain drove in one when he singled in the first inning.
Bluefish took the lead for good with six runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth Brelin Carroll singled off of Griffin Tate, driving in one run and there was an error, scoring one run.
Diggy Cimaroli earned the win for Bluefish. He tossed one and one-third innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out one, and walking zero. Will Sheats took the loss for Fightin’ Crabs. He went one-third of an inning, surrendering two runs, two hits, striking out one, and walking one.
Tate started the game for Fightin’ Crabs. He went five and a third innings, allowing eight runs, 12 hits, striking out one, and walking one. John Barclay III started the game for Bluefish. He pitched four and a third innings, surrendering three runs, five hits, and striking out two.
MacMilan Shoenman, McSwain, Jake Odom, Noah Herried, Daniel Haskell, and Carroll each collected multiple hits for Bluefish. McSwain and Shoenman each managed three hits to lead Bluefish.
