Lakewood Legends Drops Game To Outer Banks Daredevils After Late Score

Lakewood Legends lost the lead late in a 10-9 defeat to Outer Banks Daredevils on Friday. The game was tied at eight with Outer Banks Daredevils batting in the top of the ninth when Robert Olah homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Despite the loss, Lakewood Legends did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Outer Banks Daredevils had 13 hits on the way to victory.

Lakewood Legends opened up scoring in the second inning, when Bren Faulk drew a walk, scoring one run.

Outer Banks Daredevils knotted the game up at eight in the top of the eighth inning, when Hunter McKown drew a walk, scoring one run.

After Outer Banks Daredevils scored one run in the top of the seventh, Lakewood Legendsanswered with one of their own. Outer Banks Daredevils scored when Tre Jones grounded out, scoring one run. Lakewood Legends then answered when Austin Kirkpatrick hit a solo homer.

Greenbrier Knights took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Portsmouth Yardbirds. The game was tied at 12 with Greenbrier Knights batting in the bottom of the ninth when Luke Lageman singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Greenbrier Knights built a five-run lead in the sixth inning and then held off Portsmouth Yardbirds‘s charge. Portsmouth Yardbirds managed ten runs in the failed comeback. Liam GeibCameron WallaceJalin McMillanDaniel QinJoshua Brown, and Christopher Berry picked up RBIs to lead the rally.

Portsmouth Yardbirds got things moving in the second inning. Kent Bingman was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Outer Banks Daredevils out-hit Norfolk Redbirds nine to eight, but it wasn’t enough in a 7-3 loss on Thursday

Outer Banks Daredevils got things started in the first inning when Outer Banks Daredevilsscored one run on a stolen base.

In the top of the second inning, Norfolk Redbirds tied things up at one when Christian Szablewski grounded out, scoring one run.

Chase Moore wasted no opportunities at the plate on Wednesday, driving in four on two hits to lead Virginia Blasters past Portsmouth Yardbirds 18-4 on Wednesday. Moore drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a double in the fourth.

Portsmouth Yardbirds captured the lead in the second inning. Joe Gross singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Virginia Blasters took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Randall “RJ” Safron singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Virginia Beach Shredders fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 8-0 loss to Norfolk Redbirds on Wednesday. Norfolk Redbirds scored on a double by Max Lipscomb and a single by Christopher Mills in the first inning.

The Virginia Beach Shredders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Norfolk Redbirds, giving up eight runs.

Norfolk Redbirds opened up scoring in the first inning. Norfolk Redbirds scored one run when Lipscomb doubled.

A single by Parker Burch in the first inning was a positive for Virginia Beach Shredders.
